1st Communion & 1st Reconciliation Preparation

Our religious education program aims to help children build a strong foundation in the Catholic faith through Scripture, prayer, and the Sacraments.

Classes are held Sundays 10 am to 11 am at Sr. Catherine Steele Center and include preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Children who have reached the age of reason are welcomed to prepare for these sacraments of initiation.

In class, children will develop a greater appreciation for God's immense love for them, and will grow in their faith by learning how to read the Bible, exploring different ways to pray, relying on the Sacraments for grace, discovering the tremendous gift of Jesus' real presence in the Eucharist, and cultivating a deeper devotion to Our Lady, the Saints, and the Angels.

Parents are welcome to stay for fellowship and coffee!

Confirmation

Confirmation

Our youth catechesis program is a welcoming space for youth to grow in faith, build friendships, and explore what it means to live as disciples of Christ in today’s world.

Classes are held Sundays 10 am to 11 am at Sr. Catherine Steele Center and include preparation for Confirmation.

During the class, our youth will learn more about God's deep and abounding love for them, deepen their prayer life, and learn how to become lifelong disciples of Christ. Through formative, compelling videos and discussion, as well as involvement in the life of the parish, they will begin to take an active role in their faith, acquire an appreciation for the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit, develop a closer relationship with Christ, and discern God's will for their life.

Youth who have received their First Communion and Reconciliation are welcome to begin preparing for their Confirmation with us.

Parents are welcome to stay for fellowship and coffee!
